The use of a liquid fertilizer is an easy way to provide our plants with nutrients. The quantity that should be used depends on the product; you should follow the instructions found on the packaging. Another way to fertilize is to use a granulated fertilizer which is formed by small grains distributed over the special planting medium around the plant . The grains will dissolve in the water used for watering and the plant will absorb the nutrients. The quantity needed should be indicated on the package; however; usually one teaspoon per cup is sufficient. This application can be done every three months.
